SystemProkon
SystemProkon is loaded with method studies which are fragmented and put into a method library. The methods are later on used to put together a work process for each product. This methodology leads to less variance between used and estimated time, and less time spent on measuring every product. SystemProkon can be connected to the company’s MPS system for more efficient updating procedure.
Work sampling studies
Work sampling studies is the perfect tool for a situation assessment analysis. The study is preferably conducted over a time period of two weeks, involving between 10-25 operators, where we collect randomized observations of the production. The observations are both sorted into value adding time or non value adding time and working station. The non value adding time is subcategorised into smaller groups of events and thus easy to analyse. This study gives the customer a good understanding of how time is distributed between various working groups and where the greatest improvement potential is.
Method and work studies
The working processes are fragmented into methods and analysed until the desired confidence interval is reached. This decreases the time spent on measuring products thus there is fewer methods used than products produced. The methods are later on put together into working processes for each product with the use of a configurator and stored in a routing file.
- Time studies
Time studies is performed on a selection of products where all working procedures are fragmented into methods and categorized in the method library in SystemProkon. During the selection of products to measure it is of importance that enough methods are covered since these methods will be joint together into working processes for the majority of the product range.
- Configuration of working processes
A configurator is created when all the necessary working methods have a desired confidence level. The configurator specifies which methods that are used for specific products by using variables and conditions. We recommend that the variables are connected to product properties such as, weight, length, material etc. for an easier usage later in the process. The configurators can be linked together and thus it is possible to compute several operations at the same time.
- Routing file
Time measurements are saved here together with the answers to the variables from the configurator. SystemProkon can be connected to most of the MPS system that are used in Sweden and thus the routing file can be transferred at selected times or manually when product changes are made.
